Cons have having a standard car battery up front and AGMs in the back?

After I got all my charging troubles resolved and alternator/belt replaced I'm debating what I want to do with my 2 kinetic batteries. I thought they were my problems so went and picked up a regular car battery for the front and took my other 2 out.

What I'm wondering is will it be fine to keep that one up front and put my 2 kinetiks in the back? If I put one up front I noticed that they are a little too tall and were rubbing through the firewall to the hood. If I do run it like this it'll only be for another 2 months Untill I get my new vehicle. Or am I looking for trouble.

ive been told having a wet cell batt up front and agms in the back will cause the batts to pull against each other and be counterproductive...but I have no facts to prove this...

Mmm I wonder why. I would always think it would do more good than anything.

It adds to your over all cranking amps but wet batts rest at lower voltage which will cause the resting voltage of each battery to sea saw back and forth and lower the resting voltage of the agm. I mix but I charge my system with a battery charger to try to supplement the charging system every few weeks.

So really it won't be that big of a problem for a temporary set up for no more than 6 weeks.
