BannisterEc
Thanks Joe. Im heading towards for of these subs so I can use my big amp but Im not sure if the port will have enough breathing room
Joe X
Port area will be enough but not sure the subs themselves can take that much power, you will need to be careful and set your gains properly.
BannisterEc
Now wired the subs to 2ohms to be safe, still sounds strong. I wanted to put four of these subs in but the box is not long enough
BannisterEc
I would also like to take the frequency up a tiny bit to 36hz as the rumbleas and rattles
Joe X
You can't do 4 subs on the same box, a box for 4 drivers would need to be twice as big, tuning up would require making the port shorter which is not very easy but it can be done. BannisterEc
Im going to change them then for two of the compz 15s but I don't know if two will get as low as the old cheapies Im using now. Maybe I could get away with these subs in the current box? Any concerns from your side???
Joe X
They should work but maybe not too well, I would prefer to see some parameters and specs just as with the other ones before issuing an opinion.
BannisterEc
Fair enough but the new subs are the Targa compz range which there are no specs included with them just like my 12version

Joe X
Fair enough but the new subs are the Targa compz range which there are no specs included with them just like my 12version Best if you could get some of the subs we use on here or another good brand you have access to, if not you can always pull parameters from a sub, I honestly wouldn't recommend anyone buying from a company that sale unspecified/poorly specified product.
