Ohm Load Question

ok just a quick question i seem to be kinda confuse if i have a sub and its a dual 2 ohm and have it positive to positive and negative to negative how many ohms does it come out to on the amp.

it has two possibilities

1 ohm or 4 ohm

depending on how u wire the coils

wiring in parallel like you said would be a 1ohm load.

+ to+ and -to -=directly to the amp

so how can i get my sub to come out to 2ohms

add another sub..

your choices with a dual 2 are: 1 ohm parallel or 4 ohm series..

also if you want to add another sub you will get either a .5 or a 2 or an 8 ohm load depending on the wiring configuration.

o ok thats exacly what i was tellin the this local shop but had the whole crew arguin with me
