goodvibez Posted February 26, 2015 Report Share Posted February 26, 2015 you can cut the strips and reuse them but its not easy because you have to use special connectors that attach to the ends and its just a pain...you can get rgb modulles that are a brick of 3 led's then a 3"strip of wire and then another brick of 3 rgb's and just cut the 4 wires inbetween to what ever length you need then solder the 4 wires on the end to what ever length you need to reach the controller. just start looking at rgb led connectors and you will understand Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating! I recommend epic lighting sold by skyhighcaraudio.net because Ive used probably 4 different controllers and 4 different sellers led's and epic's are my favorite. I've also used superbrightleds.com but they are pricey...good and quality...but epic's are just as good for less... another thing about the epic controller other than it has the best remote control as far as distance and convince is it can handle allot. I have a controller that looks almost exactly the same, puts out same amount of amps per channel but my lights went dimmer the more I added led's so I bought a new one that put out more amps per channel and it made them brighter. Then bought the epic lighting controller which looks identical to the other two puts out the same amps as the first one I had but it was just as bright as the higher amperage controller hope that made sense Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it.
