MECHMAN
Made some more progress on the battery trailer. Batteries fit for last time, battery hold downs all cleaned up and bolted down, fuse holders mounted, and started making the cables. 1-888-MECHMAN www.Mechman.com [email protected]
MECHMAN
Got the bus bar mounted, and an elevated mount for the fuse holders. The ground buss bar is isolated from the chassis of the trailer for safety. That way if a cable comes loose, it has to touch the bus bar itself or a negative battery cable to cause a fire. Spent a little bit of time making cables. Only about 46 more to go! LOL 1-888-MECHMAN www.Mechman.com [email protected]

Should be nice and durable without being too heavy. We just picked up the piece of copper to do the positive buss bar. It will be isolated from ground with polycarbonate mounts, should turn out pretty cool. Safety is our whole goal with this build... 1-888-MECHMAN www.Mechman.com [email protected]
starkey814
Everything is looking damn good. But i have a question....... If the trailer is only holding batteries, why did you make it so tall? Not criticizing, just wondering.

Because this vehicle will also serve as our show vehicle, we need to be able to fit our alternator display, EZ up, chairs, Shirts, etc... 1-888-MECHMAN www.Mechman.com [email protected]
