tbeats
Running a saz 1200d on two SA d4 12's now.. Stock alt 95 amp with a xs power d4800 under the hood.. I see the new scv 1500 is the same size and price that the saz 1200 was ... So leaving me to wondering would I even benefit from upgrading to the scv? Cj Kumz
I hear they are slightly more efficient but haven't proved yet. Or you could just save a it more and get the scv 2000 Quote Vw Polo Pioneer Deh-6050UB Sundown Saz-3500d DD Audio 9500 15'' 5.5 cubic feet box with 10 inch port @ 38hz I live to hear the Bass drop!!! Miguels
i wouldn't change it.. its basically the same amp.. the only difference is that the saz1200 d can put out more at higher voltage and the scv line can only see 15. something volts i love sundown amps but i just think its a selling trick jacob is using.. make the amps put out the same watts and rate them higher to make them look cheap per watt when in fact you are getting same amp with different components to make them 12v.. not bashing on him or sundown i will still run sundown amps Quote my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
Broke_Audio_Addict
What's the trick miguel? More watts at less voltage sounds good too me. They are cheaper too so I'm failing to see the issue. tbeats
The scv 2000 would be awesome but I can't fit a larger size due to space on how my install is... If the scv line can put out more wattage with less voltage going with the scv 1500 I should get more wattage correct? But would that wattage even be noticeable? Miguels
what is your voltage looking like? you can get more out of that saz1200 with a better alt and a battery in the rear. even if you get the svc2000 you wont see much gains because your electrical is limited Quote my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

tbeats
My voltage is holding steady at 13.6 to maybe 13.1 at the lowest drop. As I said I have a stock alt with big 3 done with knu 1/0 ofc and a xs power d4800 up front and a stinger 10f hybrid cap in rear.
CleanSierra
Your ears won't heart the difference with a few hundred watts. If you feel like spending money on a wonderful amp, do it.
