arcwcb Posted March 21, 2015 Report Posted March 21, 2015 Well, the time finally came. I traded in my Audi. However, I do enjoy its replacement, I got a Toyota Tundra CrewMax with the 5.7L V8. It's a really fun truck. What I got rid of And what I got to replace it Of course I'll be doing wheels, tires, and other mods, but I'm doing audio first. I will be doing one RF R250x4 and an RF 1200-1D for amps. All the door speakers will be replaced with RF Punch 6.5" coaxials and deadened, I ordered a pair of q-logic kicks to hold a pair of Punch 6.5" components, and I will also have a pair of Punch tweeters in the dash. Sub stage will be two 10" Sundown SD2's sealed behind the rear seat. Should sound good without being overkill or taking up any leg room. 2006 Mustang GT Audio:2x RF R1200-1D, 2x RF R400-4, 2x RF P1S48, 2x RF T1682c, 2x DC 12" Lvl 3 D2, 1x RF T1652-s, XS Power Batts, Toolmaker blocks, Knu wiring, Knu RCA's, custom enclosure with amp rack Performance Mods:Too many to list... 2008 Toyota Tundra CrewMax 5.7L Audio:1x RF R1200-1D, 1x RF R250x4, 2x Sundown 10" SD2, 2x RF P1652, 1x RF P1652-s, Q-logic kickpanels, Knu wiring, Knu RCA's, custom enclosure with amp rack Performance Mods: Coming Soon

Box looks great so far! I use dental floss to "saw" through the adhesive, then take a 3M eraser wheel to get the adhesive off. A couple rounds of Griot's Machine Polish 1 with a fast cut pad on my orbital and some follow up with paint sealant, you'll never know it was there. And thanks, the Audi was a great car, It was the APR stage 2, 19" RS4 reps I had custom coated, Carbonio CAI, Fi X and an RF 750-1D, it was a LOT of fun and had a good amount of power. But, the Tundra is more practical, has more space, and is a lot cheaper to maintain haha lets me put more money in to my Mustang! 2006 Mustang GT Audio:2x RF R1200-1D, 2x RF R400-4, 2x RF P1S48, 2x RF T1682c, 2x DC 12" Lvl 3 D2, 1x RF T1652-s, XS Power Batts, Toolmaker blocks, Knu wiring, Knu RCA's, custom enclosure with amp rack Performance Mods:Too many to list... 2008 Toyota Tundra CrewMax 5.7L Audio:1x RF R1200-1D, 1x RF R250x4, 2x Sundown 10" SD2, 2x RF P1652, 1x RF P1652-s, Q-logic kickpanels, Knu wiring, Knu RCA's, custom enclosure with amp rack Performance Mods: Coming Soon
