kirill007
That's what I suggested, PA woofers(=midrange/midbass) and horns for the rest of the frequency spectrum. And no, not all Pro audio equipment is used as a full range, I assume you mean the woofers. If you cut them off before they start beaming, it will improve the sound by a lot. The woofers need very little EQ'ing if installed and chosen correctly, the horns need a little more work. When I say pa drivers, I am not referring to Crescendo, Sundown, skar, and so on crap but actual Pro Audio drivers like JBL, Beyma, B&C, 18 Sound, Ciare, Faital Pro And as far as horns go I would suggest ID horns. knowledge
When installing several 18's, sound quality at that levels ain't gonna matter much. I see that all the time. It's either that or u won't even tell the quality of components at full tilt with the bass. Plus they don't keep up u need multiple comps just to keep up with a nice 8 inch pro audio and tweet. REFF'SMy linkEBAYhttp://feedback.ebay...ck&myworld=trueI love car audio so much because I will never be done. I can never win, and I will never get it finished or perfect. It always has me coming back for more, I can never get my fill of it, but I get what I need.

And this is why most people dislike PA, because at least 99% of the people does it wrong. Mating a 8 inch pro audio driver to a tweeter is almost impossible unless you are crossing over the tweeter way too low reducing the power handling by so much that you could've went with components instead. (or even a lot better, raw drivers) Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

knowledge
Obviously u need more than an 8 and a tweet to get it right I was saying as an example. ALPINE408
You know when the op asked the question an 8 tweet or 6.5 pa and tweet is what he was planning midrange and sub bass didn't even cross my mind with how 99% of people use P/As they sound like ass I would like to hear one of those cars you posted Have you ever had your woofers blown? That's why I specified my advice, but it's hard to get people to listen to you if 10-20 other people say he should buy crescendo super tweeters with their "pro audio". There are quite a few people that have use horns and pro audio drivers, but they usually are the kind of people that aren't easily happy and keep tweaking/tuning. (I'm pretty sure people dislike my methods because they involve more work and/or more research.) Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
