I haven't built one of those yet. I did sim one in Hornresp though. It looked like it would do decently with their recommend sub, I could not find much other subs that would work as well though. There really isn't anything special about the design. It's a glorified 4th order bandpass box. The "horn" portion isn't long enough to have any horn effect at subwoofer frequencies.
