I am very happy with all the work Daniel and Eric did to my Yukon but any body that knows me knows I constantly fuck with my shit. Be it good or bad, I change my mind like socks. Headliner and baffle paint in a few days, hopefully be the end of the week, maybe early next week. Then re assemble , figure out amp rack and see how it does. DavidClark Posted January 4, 2016 Author Report Posted January 4, 2016 Dropped the Yukon off a B&B Custom Interiors to have the headliner and visors done in black suede, and the door pods wrapped in black vinyl. I was able to get a little work done this weekend, I got the inserts put back in the A pillars, cut the old baffle a little more so it won't take up as much space and cut 3" the front side of the shell. It reminded me of what it could do, also motivated me to get it back together. I got the headliner installed and the door pods wrapped. I need to paint the plastic pieces on the headliner and will start painting everything else in the cabin. I do have two questions though: 1) How do you like the Borla exhaust you got? I never saw anything else mentioned about that. 2) how did you like having the dual 6.5's in the doors, one vented straight into the OEM hole and one vented between the panel and metal? I like having dual 6.5's in the doors, its just louder plus it looks cooler IMO. I need to block off the holes in the metal behind the speakers. My dodge had much more mid bass because it was sealed from the inner door. I had the interior shop cover up the lights in the headliner and I will paint the rear AC vents at a later date. What are the mids you have again? I can't recall Sucks about the exhaust, but I'm sure you'll get it on there eventually. It's not at all hard to swap out at least I haven't decided between Borla or Corsa on my Tahoe for when I get back from deployment.
