kingsuv
yeah, no idea why it has hood pins lol, hopefully he can fill me in with whats been done to it tomorrow when i give him a call It's either cause he was racing it.... all bad. Or it was in a shitty neighborhood and it had to be on lock down. Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. rusty959
Btw I think I might spy some rust in the front wheelwell, better check to see if it is and if so if there is more that has just been covered. Other than that though, looks nice. kandiman71874
another famous rust out place on those is the rear frame rail behind the drivers side tire. i know, odd ass place since most are one wheel peel and its the right rear that spins, but check it out, i've had 3 of them and still currently own an 86 Gutlass and they are notorious for the frames rotting away back there. best thing to do would to pay a shop to get it up on a rack and go over it. have the service manager escort you out to the shop and get a good look around under it. the tech can check the mechanicals, but its best if you see the condition of the frame and the floor pan seems yourself. good luck man, looks like a decent gutlass for the cash if all is solid about it. oh yeah, look for bolt holes in pairs around the transmission tunnel on each side of the driveshaft. being it has hood pins, if there are bolt holes in a few spots right behind the transmission tailshaft, its an indication it had a driveshaft saftey loop in it and that it has been some ones street rod in the past. Clocksta
k well, i called him earlier and he said that he bought the car for $200 from the original owner and that it had been sitting out, he said he was in the process of redoing it as he put new quarters/rims/tires/headliner blah blah blah, and that he drove it all last summer with no problems (cept i guess it squeals a lil bit on start up until its warm) but yeah, i should be meeting up with him on friday (he gets home at 4:30 and i go to schol at 4 so >_<!) managed to snag a few more pics though
