Guest
I didn't read through all the thread so if it's been asked my bad. How and where are the amps grounded? I'm sure it won't hurt to redo the alt ground regardless You grounded the alt case to the frame? Its all good, I re-did every ground wire except the alt case to ground one so far. Every ground is "dremeled" down and connected straight to a strut on the car.
SIDE SHOW
if you just run one pair of left and right rca's to each 4 channel amp, do you still have the noise?

Broke_Audio_Addict
Hmm so the alt case is grounded to your front batt? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Guest
Hmm so the alt case is grounded to your front batt? Yup, I got it connected to that bolt just above the arrow to the batt neg, which is double grounded to a strut.
Broke_Audio_Addict
Do you have a rear battery? Broke_Audio_Addict
OK what I would do is eliminate those grounds and run as thick of a ground wire as you can from the alt case to the rear batt and ground all your amps to the rear batt. You can even test this by running the wire outside of the car and through a window to see if it makes a difference. Ahmed Johnson
You could leave those old battery grounds but definitely do a dedicated ground from the rear to the front
