I'm sure it won't hurt to redo the alt ground regardless You grounded the alt case to the frame? Its all good, I re-did every ground wire except the alt case to ground one so far. Every ground is "dremeled" down and connected straight to a strut on the car.

Guest Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Hmm so the alt case is grounded to your front batt? Yup, I got it connected to that bolt just above the arrow to the batt neg, which is double grounded to a strut.

Broke_Audio_Addict Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 OK what I would do is eliminate those grounds and run as thick of a ground wire as you can from the alt case to the rear batt and ground all your amps to the rear batt. You can even test this by running the wire outside of the car and through a window to see if it makes a difference.
