although the fs on thses subs are 40hz.... can it b tuned at mid 20's without damaging?????

So far so good. For most users I suggest tuning a bit higher, but for him it is exactly what he wanted.

It's an EBS (extended bass shelf) alignment which has a relatively high F3, but with a shelving response that carries down to tuning sitting on the F3 line.

The nightshades are pretty cool I heard this truck today and Brandon only had 400 watts per sub and it staight up pounded.

I'm confident in saying that the subs were incredibly under powered by alot and it still fucking slammed.

When the 2 SAZ-3000Ds go in I'm afraid its going to tare that Bronco II apart.

This is deffently worth hereing if you ever get the chance especially while it only has 400 watts per sub.

The Nightshades seemed really efficient for what they are.

If I had more money on hand I would have been walking away with one today.

P.S. after I saw the roof doing what it did, I told him about the chocolate milk trick.

Jacob you gotta bug him about doing the chocolate milk trick and video tape it so everyone can see it.

His ride would be a great example for the chocolate milk trick.

I'll see what I can do about the chocolate milk trick *laughs*

I keep ear plugs in his glove box to ride in it already :)

So I take it you liked the prototype SAE-1200D as well ? FYI, it was at 1.33 ohms too.

Ya Jacob, I didn't bring that part up because I didn't know if you wanted it talked about.

So,

Yes everyone what I heard today was not with the SAZ-1500D.

It was the prototype version of the new SAE-1200D.

Everyone that amp is going to be a Bad Mother Fucker.

For a claimed 1200 watts at 1 ohm it was moveing the hell out of SPL type 15 inch subs.

Some will miss the SAZ-1500D, but there is nothing to be worried about when the SAE-1200D comes out.

I promise. :D
