Andrew Storlie Posted April 24, 2015 Report Share Posted April 24, 2015 Ts-w5000spl thats the model number of a sub im looking at, my cousin saw a guy selling it for 400 OBO on craigslist and for some reason i cant find any reviews of info on it... any help would be nice... the site says 2k rms and 5k max. guy on craigslist say need 2krms just to get moving? for 400 buck is it worth it or should i tell my cousin to get something else???? SIDE SHOW Posted April 24, 2015 Report Share Posted April 24, 2015 have sold a few of these a few years ago.... pretty nice looking chunky sub. they are designed for spl but in the correct enclosure can actually sound qite nice. i'd suggest atleast running 2000wrms at a minimum. SIDE SHOW Posted April 24, 2015 Report Share Posted April 24, 2015 that amp will only do 1600wrms at 2 ohm, just so you no. with a budget like that, i'd suggest getting two 15inch subs and using the full potential of your amp and getting them wired to 1 ohm.
