BigManAC Posted April 24, 2015 Report Posted April 24, 2015 After I put my old HU back into my car (had to send new one back) I did everything I normally do. My amp for the PWXs' is a MB Quart 800.4. I set the gains on sub and mid/highs amp with DD1. Set crossover points on both amps, check to make sure everything is in working order. Anyway today I noticed that the PWXs' don't sound as loud as they normally do. I checked the to see if the amp was getting 14.4v and it was, I also checked the impedance of each speaker and they all read 4 ohms. I've been thinking about getting a new mid/highs amp for a while so this gives me a good excuse lol. Now I just have to decide on the amp. I was looking at the Crescendo S550.2 or the S800.4 but if I get the S800.4 I might as well spend a bit more and get the new S1500.1F. Any thoughts?
