There have been people on this very thread (edit) *throw* out things like the government needs to step in, martial law needs to be declared, get the president to take care of it... So let me get this straight... you Don't trust your local police, but you Do trust the real Umbrella Corp which is the Government's Executive Branch to "Take care of it"?? Let me pick my jaw up off the floor. I'm not picking at anyone in particular, and am by no means meaning to insult anyone here- we are all brothers as far as I can tell. But I really can not wrap my mind around some of the thought processes going on. Ultimately- and this is my opinion and it is worth what you are paying for it- the Federal Government has no place In this. They shouldn't have to I mean. The local and state authorities should. Those people are elected BY the people they govern. The consented that is. The police aren't some amorphous evil thing- they aren't clones with one mind, they are SUPPOSED to be a part of the very people that consent to be governed by their elected. But now we are wanting Big Government to step in and Handle Things?? Tell me one thing the Federal Government took possession of or put its fingers in that it FULLY gave back. Tell me one.We are all slowly falling into the trap. Bit by bit.
