Beanz
is it cheaper to build your box or to buy a pre fab one? Quote That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do. dleccord
def cheaper to build one yourself, unless you dont got tools but in the long run itll pay off. but the ones on ebay aint crap either, the prefab ones that is. Torres
you'll get cheaper sound out of a prefab. it's better to make one yourself imo
01xtreme
you are posting in the SPL section, so I assume you want good numbers on a meter. if that is the case building a box is the way to go. cheaper if you have the tools, and much better sound all the way around Quote My System: Pioneer AVH-P3200BT 4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors) 8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash) 1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs) 2-18" BTL's (for now) Crescendo 3kwp (for sale) Complete rebuild coming soon... sdrawkcaB
Plus if you build it yourself, you can make it look how you want, preform how you want, and you can custom fit it how you want. Pretty much everthing is how YOU want it to be and you won't be stuck with something that you don't 100% like and can't change. AlpineGuy87
X 10000000 Another upside is you get it to fit your vehicle, you shape it how you want, you put your own fabic, vinyl, paint, etc on it that you want, and like mentioned before you will really get the results your looking for on a TL. Plus you got bragging rights to all your friends who have pre-fab boxes, "yea, i built my own box!" Pretty soon ppl are asking you to build them a box. =D Quote 06 SCION tC
