Mr DeeBeez
going to be building a box for a friend who just got 2 sundown e12 v2's. Max dimensions are 35"wide, 15"tall, and as deep as needed. He is going for more of a sound quality setup. Has a Rockford p1000x1bd to power them. Wants it tuned to whatever you think would sound the best, and have a flat response. Thank you very much! Joe X
Here is a suggestion, power: to subs rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 3 3/4", figure is just an assembly guide:NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside. CXHBumpin39
Joe X, it's going in my Grand Prix, is there any way you can make it one port to one side and is that going to make sound quality worse if I wanted to do that?
Joe X
if you are going for sound quality strictly speaking, sealed would be the way to go, the ported above could be done port on the side if you wanted.
CXHBumpin39
I want it to be somewhat loud also that's why I wanted ported, same port size and what length port if it was both subs in one chamber ported to one side?
