Kyle Aaron Jones Posted June 17, 2015 Report Posted June 17, 2015 Just unpacked my brand new nendo 2k, got it hooked up with a 140 amp fuse and some SHCA 1/0. Drilled and tapped my ground location, using toolmaker 1/0 inputs and stinger rcas. I have tried two sets of RCAs, and my headunit was working with the last amp i had in this morning (an mtx rt1000d) nothing has been changed about the charging or input systems. The amp is seeing a 2 ohm load off of an HDC418. I just installed this little bastard this morning and have never heard a note out of it. I have tried to run the amp with and withouth the bass knob. The bass knob has a clipping indicator, not it has never lit up. The power light on the bass knob and amp are both on and the protect light has never come on. Any ideas on what could be wrong? I have checked connections to the sub and headunit. I don't want to have to send this back to florida and be bassless for another few weeks Thanks for any input on my plight
khinds94 Posted June 17, 2015 Report Posted June 17, 2015 after you set your gains on your amp take out the bass knob and see if that works. If it still doesn't work. Take a digItal multimeter and switch the diAL to AC voltage and measure the amp outpUT terminals. Turn the volume to 75% and observe screen. Kyle Aaron Jones Posted June 17, 2015 Author Report Posted June 17, 2015 Thanks for the input. When I go on lunch I will give that a shot. What am I looking to see on screen? The unit should produce 800+ watts at this resistance.

Borris The Blade Posted June 17, 2015 Report Posted June 17, 2015 Also check your crossovers. I've had the subsonic and low pass mixed up before so they filtered all sound. It's like rubbing your wiener up against a sheep.
Kyle Aaron Jones Posted June 17, 2015 Author Report Posted June 17, 2015 It was amazingly two sets of bad rcas. I got my very last pair out and whew! Thanks for the help guys I appreciate it.
