soundstream15
I got 2 12s and my box is a tad small for them, it was built for my dc subs and well I no longer got them bc well I needed recons and shit. go figure huh lol so I went back to my hdc3 12s I had. they where not even a year old but the box is 3.6 net and while im still doing a 147db out of the trunk and it is loud, I know it can get louder so I thought about inverting them but wouldn't that look gay? should I invert the subs or no? lol I think it would look weird but hell, I would gain over 1db im sure
Ahmed Johnson
When I inverted them they sounded the same. It seemed like I lost air that moved around the cabin.

Broke_Audio_Addict
You'd gain .26 cuft. Only one way to find out if that would actually make a difference. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Joe X
When you increase net airspace that also lowers your tuning a bit so the net effect could go either way.
