I would like to do a system in the truck, not walled or anything but good enough for a daily. make mounts for 6.5's instead of the 6x8 component in front coaxial in back. MotorCityFats13 Posted July 23, 2015 Report Share Posted July 23, 2015 I run a DC lvl 3 12" custom 1.25cuft ported @ 32hz in my explorer with a BE1700.1d that I bought because of the dyno video steve uploaded, full highs, mids, wiring and 4ch amp.... funny thing is my girlfriend hates my system, hates bass and pretty much thinks car audio is the biggest waste of money in the world so this is her trailblazer and If I win this I will do a full install in her dirty messy sad sorry excuse of a daily driver ..... bye bye garage sale finds and cast iron pans hello sundown! Soccerboy2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Report Share Posted July 23, 2015 I like the diffrent idea of comp of winning , Future comp that could be neat idea , Drawing A number At random from all the submition's Most of the time you always see people who are alreeady big into audio vs people needing to start up get into it Here is what i got , 2009 Mitsubishi lancer Stock audio Setup , Half of it is blown and just dont sound great , The base in this is just not real sounding i used to have older setups in my older cars that i owned in prior to a newer vehicle, The new intergraded sound system make it harder to upgrade like older cars used to be , My old 1985 subaru hands down sounded better then my current 2009 car , Has the rockford fosgate oem that came with the car , 1 front tweeter has its up and down , one front and one rear is blown , They just cannot handle the hiphop/torchure of this music Did Attempt a 15' kicker way back but it just keep blowing up other things so that got taken out , i tryed to go overkill with the sub at that time , I wanted Better sounding and aftermarket but it has not worked out that time around, next time around will get professionaly put it by a audio shop , so the trunk now lays empty , Oem everything if that count's cause this oem setup needs to go ' Nothing like aftermarket sound , speciallly the bass , Stock headunit , Stock speakers , stock sub stock everything as audio , It is how it came From factory , Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
