What Router To Buy?

hi guys im in the process of buying a router.. i never used one before. what can you guys suggest?

should i also buy some router bits?

should i also get a router table?

im also planning to buy the black and decker $150 table saw at lowe's

you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol

not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.

that is the way to go.... thats what i have and i love it.

for bits you will need:

flush mount bit

1/2" round over bit

and a spiral up cut bit with a circle jig like the jasper jig.

on table saws it depends how much you will be using it.

if you are going to be making an occasional box here and there then i would get the 150 to 250 ones at home depot or sears.

but if you are going to be making boxes every day then deffinately go big and spend 1000plus on a badd ass table saw and fence system like i did.

Yes on the jig, and not really on the table. I have a router and table that just sits 99% of the time. If fact I only use mine to make templates with

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

where is the cheapest place to buy these? or is there a set that will include all these?

oh man for a second there I thought you were talking about a broadband router haha. then you started talking about bits and I was like crap lol

hahahah me too...cuz i saw that other post about router problems

SOB...i almost bought that router. like...i had it in my hands. then the lady said the other one was on sale and i was like SHIT! :( so i got different kind...which i still love...it's just not digital. eh...what can ya do? :unsure:

spiral upcut bits are FTFW! and roundover bits are a beautiful thing
