Hey guys, was a long time since I was here, but now I'am back :)

And now I need your help. I have got a new system. And it suck B*lls... was running 250wRMS in my old box and it plays batter and louder then this box on 1000wRMS...

So my questin is. Can i put my new Ground zero "GZRW 30SPL" in my old box?
http://www.ground-zero-audio.com/en/products/subwooferchassis/gzrw-30spl.html (that is the sub)

And my old box:

Fb = 34 Hz
Vb = 1.75 ft^3

External Height = 36 cm
External Width = 54 cm
External Depth = 45 cm

Port Width = 5.25 cm

Whould i blow my sub if i put it in that box?

Atm the sub is in the orginal box ( http://www.ground-zero-audio.com/en/products/subwooferboxes/gzrb-120xspl.html ) and it does not even bass in 80% of the music.... and yess i have tunned it right.

I am thankful for all your answers :) have a nice day

It should be in a box that the manufacturer recommends for the sub. Do either of the boxes you have meet Ground Zero's recommendation for a box?

You won't blow the sub trying your other box.

Ground Zero's recommendations-

Box recommendation vented
55 Liter / 1.94 cu.ft. - Rohr / Tube 2 x Ø 8 cm / 3.15" - L = 20 cm / 8"
Box recommendation sealed
20 - 28 Liter / 0.7 - 1.0 cu.ft

I have now found out that my RCA's is not even pushing out the right power that it should do.... With the gain ALL the way it sends out about 16v to the speaker terminals.... so that is like no power att all when i have it tuned like it should bee. So I will install a new radio in front and run the RCA's from there. (have RCA cables soldered to the bakspeakers right now) so i gues that will give me abit more power allso :)

I hope you were using a LOC to interface with the amp from the speakers, It will be a great idea to get an aftermarket HU.

not 100% sure on what a "LOC" is, but i hade a converter or what its calld :) a high to low signal converter. is that what a loc is?

Yeah it SHOULD be batter using a decent HU :) Think it will great

Yes, that's what an LOC is. Line output converter.

What LOC were you using? Out of curiosity. A new HU would be much better than any LOC.

Probably a good idea to not use it again. I personally don't think I'll ever go the LOC route again. I've used them in the past, they're great for cheap installs for those who don't want to spend much money, but after seeing that most do not output a clean signal, if I ever need to retain factory radio, I'll use a DSP. More expensive, but much worth it from what I've seen. Good luck with your head unit decision. Lots of good choices, don't cheap out!
