bassman619 Posted July 13, 2015 Author Report Posted July 13, 2015 Or would that be too much port ? You need trunk space to get groceries and shit...bitches love groceries
Joe X Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 Ok here is a second shot using the extra inch available, this time you get the 2.5 net per driver, power: to subs rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 6", figure is just an assembly guide: NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside.

Joe X Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 It's going to be hard to build and more so since you have to seal off, make sure you understand what needs to be done and in what order before you start, build what you can outside and get a kreg jig. There are quite a few builds on here just like the one you are starting, make sure you take a look.
Joe Kralovetz Posted July 16, 2015 Report Posted July 16, 2015 Any updates on this box? did it work well and sound good? I'm currently upgrading from 1 x12 to 2 and I am looking for box designs I have pretty much the same trunk space maybe little more so, a update as to outcome out be great. Thanks 2007 Chevy Equinox Pioneer AVH-X5800BHS Big 3 2 runs of 2/0 Welding cable 2 - XS Power D3400 Batteries in Parallel - Fused at 250A Alpine MRP-2000D - Temp amp. 1 - ZV4 15" Rev 1
bassman619 Posted July 16, 2015 Author Report Posted July 16, 2015 i barely got the subs yesterday..i already have the mdf cut. but it will be a while before i have this box done and the whole system running..i work over 50+ hrs a week so i dnt have alot of time ti work on the car. so im moving kind of slow with this build. what i can tell u is that joe x makes badass box designs and if you build it right and follow his design then it will sound great. this box is built to specs for the x12s airspace and tuning are as recommended from sundown so im confident that this box will do very well.
