I need some people with some personal experiences to give me some advice. I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner that is in need of all new suspension. It has original springs and original toyota shocks in the rear that probably came on it. I have narrowed it down to KYB and Bilstein. Any comments on these brands or any advice is greatly appreciated. Also any recommended spring brands, or mods I should do to improve ride, and or looks. Thanks!

the 5100's are pretty much in complete agreeability across all boards for how nice of a daily shock they make on a 4wd street driven pickup. All the F150forum guys recommend them, GM guys too.

go for them if you find a good deal.

I have a full 5100 set up (front and rear) with OME 885x springs on the way for my Tacoma, from what I've read it should be a nice set up. Like others have said it seems like everyone swears by these shocks. If you haul a good amount of weight you could look into helper bags. That'll be next on my list!
