Broke_Audio_Addict Posted July 26, 2015 Report Share Posted July 26, 2015 Not familiar with it but looking at the specs thats a 5k not a 10k(assuming it does rated) That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. rcflanagan3 Posted July 26, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 26, 2015 My buddy has one 5k with 2 18" Fi BTL triple stacked with dual 1ohm coils and the gain is about a 16th of the way up and hes making the subs clip.... the amp also has the daisy-chain option or "strapping" which probably why it says they make a 5k or10k because two 5k amps in sync equal 1 10k (obviously) but the triple stacked btls should be able to handle the single 5k between the two of them I think he bridged each speaker in series and then paralleled them to a 1ohm load I was just curious because I think the amp is way underrated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
