Watch Enthusiasts - Educate Me

Balmer makes cheap watches too now.

Bottom line is for $150 go to nearest kohls and try on every watch till you find something you like. The wait till you get a 30% off coupon in the mail. In your price point there isn't much to discuss. You aren't going to find anything that needs a 27 page thread. And buying from kohls will at least give you a brick and mortar store to go to should anything happen in the 1st 90 days

Also look at Wenger too. At $150 don't go looking for some odd ball niche watch. stick to someone that's gonna back their product up not some boutique name. At $150 your not a baller, just a guy that wants a solid watch. Don't buy a watch that's trying to be something its not in the $150 range

Rolex you sicken me.

Ugh I've been wanting a watch for a while now too, I just find it hard to come to a decision!

Then your looking at it from the wrong perspective. If your having trouble odds are its cause you are buying based on looks and fashion. Not on the fact the watch is a tool. If you want a piece of jewelry that tells time I guess that's cool. If your looking for something that tells you the time odds are you already have a cell phone that can do that.

Rolex you sicken me.

Movado makes a pretty decent cheap watch. They wear nice and look pretty sharp. I wouldn't bother trying to get an automatic in that price range. You'll need to really up your game to get something nice.... even the well made automatic movement high end fakes (Japanese made) start at around 350$

He won't get a nice or a real movado for $150. I bought one of the cheaper ones 2 years ago and that cost me around 600

Maybe try to save up a bit more and look for a tag or something?

That would be a lot more

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Those Movados are pretty sexy. I'll add that to my list.

Try Watchstation.com, they are usually at outlet malls if you have one in your area and have a good selection. I stick to the basics, depends on preference really. Adidas has a nice lineup of watches as well and get plenty of compliments on the black/gold one I own.

None of those around me =/
