Polar Posted August 12, 2015 Report Posted August 12, 2015 I have an 8 inch port in my box I made using a sono tube. Its not flared on either end. I was told turbulence would be a problem and it wasnt at first. Now that my subs are broken in and theyre moving a ton of air it is. Question is I have access to 8 inch pvc at my job but its all too thick( sch 80) Does anyone sell 8 inch aero ports? Ive looked and all Ive seen are 4's and 6 's. I imagine I could get a hold of some sch 40 pvc and try to heat gun a flare on it myself but I question my finish abilities. Joe X Posted August 12, 2015 Report Posted August 12, 2015 Yes: http://www.psychoport.com/#!prices/c1l4t pretty expensive though, cheaper alternatives would be 2 6" aero ports or change to a slot port, if you don't need to retune and don't have space problems you don't strictly need round ports.
