Joseph Chambers
I don't know how many of what should I buy. I have 1 SMD-OM-1 and this is what Im working with as far as amps:x2 Soundqubed Q4-90Soundqubed Q1-2200.2I was thinking:x3 SMD-OM-1x1 SMD-VM-1 Now the Q4-90 will separately run the mids and highs.. so one amp will run mids and another will run highs. How if they are outputting the same power for clipping.. could I do with just assuming that my highs are not clipping and -1 SMD-OM-1 or run x2 Soundqubed Q4-90 on 1 SMD-OM-1? ILuvJDM
I would only run them on the amps you're pushing to max output. The highs won't see full amp power, right? Just do sub amp and mids if you're pushing those hard.
Smoove
I run an OM-1 to my doors, an OM-1 to my 8's and a Vu-din to my subs. I don't know if running 6 on a 4 channel amp is a great idea but this is how i think it will be wired: x3 pairs: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_68822_NVX-XSPTW.html running on this: http://www.soundqubed.com/Q4-90_p_252.html x1 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_68824_NVX-XSP65.html & x2 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_68824_NVX-XSP65.html running on this: http://www.soundqubed.com/Q4-90_p_252.html x2 http://www.soundqubed.com/HDC3110-Copper-Coil-Subwoofer_p_13.html x1 http://www.soundqubed.com/Q1-22002-Amplifier_p_31.html So I should really have x3 output meters than? Now Im thinking of where I need to put these.
