2600w rms ..box too big for extra battery..

I have a 2013 maxima..im building a box for my subs now and the enclosure is too big to fit my batteries in the trunk. I already looked over the car and there really is nowhere to put this battery so i was wondering would 1 320a dc alternator and an xs power 51r under the hood be enough to run a total of 2600 watts rms 2200 for the bass and 400 for the highs. Heres my math...stock alt=110amps

And 180(I)= 2600 (watts)÷ 14.4 (volts) so it would be ok right? I should still have 4p extra amps available right?

Wait are you running that dc or a lower stock alt?

fuck the plating. look at what the main metal used is. you could buy unicorn blood plated terminals but if its just covering up dog shit, whats the point

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

I was planning on running the 2 d3100s and 1 270amp alt to save money since i already have the batteries. But now im wondering if i can just get by with 1 xs 51r under the hood and the 320 amp alt.

Well with either of those alts you should be right on the line of good with a single battery that's is a good battery.

I understand that group 34 and group 35 are different dimensions..are you saying a 34 would fit in place of a 35?
