MazdaBass971 Posted September 12, 2015 Author Report Posted September 12, 2015 Is that a computer controlled alt? Also do you have your big 3 done? Yes sir, i have the big 3 with tool maker battery termanals on a optima yellow top, Mike made the harness to bypass the computers regulator so the alternator can get more field current to charge higher constantly.
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 Well apparently whatever he did isn't working properly so I would contact him to resolve the issue. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

magillaru Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 If you installed the bypass correctly, it shouldn't be that. If the pulley ratio changed from stock, you likely need a smaller belt. Singer Alternators Team Asshole #anothershittysingerbuild

Yeah the belt is very tight and it doesnt slip at all, Mike said its a pretty efficient alternator and will putout 200amps at 800 rpm, and he gave me instructions on how to install the bypass harness but i have a feeling something is in the wrong spot or something.
MazdaBass971 Posted September 12, 2015 Author Report Posted September 12, 2015 If you mess with something on your own you are likely going to void your warranty Yeah that's why i havent moved the wires or anything im just gonna wait for a reply from Mike. Thanks!
MazdaBass971 Posted September 12, 2015 Author Report Posted September 12, 2015 Never mind on this whole thing i ended up fixing the problem i had, it was the alternator turn on wire not connected right, it was connected to the computers PCM regulator so it was getting confused and turning the alternator on and off constantly.
