White Lightning Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 Why not use them solely for midrange and put a mid bass driver under your seat or in the kick bad idea all together ... optimise what you have then add if you need it. Yea you can get a silver flute 8 for 36 bucks a piece and they are great for the price. Vent them in your kick panels or place them under the under your seats in an enclosure to play 50 hz to around 200 or whatever. For under seats you don't want to play frequencies more than 300 or so or it becomes too directional. Kicks you can do whatever you want but id just let the 8 inch flutes play like 50-200 hz, prvs cover 200-2500 and your tymphanies cover 2500-20k No need to vent a midbass. If you instal 8s in the kick, you will need to vent for airspace ... Kenwood / HELIX / Linear Power (For The Love Of Music) / Brutal Sounds / OverKill Electric Co Questions About Sound Quality ??
