No, if anything the 1000 watt rms sub will move less/be less efficient do to higher moving mass, higher rms subs generally have stiffer suspensions too which will further decrease efficiency. Deeznutz Posted September 27, 2015 Report Share Posted September 27, 2015 Cj Kums, couldn't a ported box compensate for the power loss spread among 3 subs since ported can run with 1/4 less power then a power robbing sealed box? a 500W RMS sub can run at 500W in a sealed, could run at 375W in a ported.
