David Jensen Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 Hi all - Currently I am running a JL JX1000/d to my T1D215 @ 4ohms which is 500w. Obviously underpowered, but this amp is from my old setup. Anyways, I am looking to upgrade my amp, and have been doing research and a lot of people are recommending the T1500-1bdCP, but I do not have the budget for a $700+ amp. Any recommendations with a budget of around $400? I will be adding another one of these subs soon, and have purchased the XS 3400 and have the big 3 done, so this is something to keep in mind as well. Is it better to have one amp for both or two amps, one for each sub?

The t1500's can be had for a lot less than $700 if you do some looking around. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
