NorCal SPL Posted October 7, 2015 Report Share Posted October 7, 2015 Hello, ready to get a little build log started on the hoe, to show how far it has come since I bought it to now, and then for (hopefully soon) the next build that will be going into it. Lets start off with the Hoe itself. It is a 2000 Chevy Tahoe Z71. It is the old body style with the 5.7, and barn door. Picked it up for a killer deal, to good to pass. 212k when I got it in April, now about 224k. Wwas very well taken care of and runs like a champ. It is my daily driver! Took it up to lowdown this year in Washington, was about 750 miles each way, towing a trailer with all the camping gear and then towing a street bike back as well. Did great and never had a doubt in it! Since I have gotten it I have done some minor visual upgrades, Plasti dipping chevy emblem, new headlights and signals, and even did a full EPIC Lighting setup underneath it. Even put in a 2004 tahoe center console in it (still need to do some work on that, just put it in to make sure I was going to like it before I actually fully glassed it up to the dash.) Next the audio Head unit: Pioneer 80prs All Sky High Power wire and RCA's Excessive Amperage 300 amp Alt Xs Power d6500 under hood and a d3100 under rear seat Re XXX 6.5 components in the front doors on a CT Sounds 125.2 (4) Ascendant Audio Mayhem 18s at .7 ohm on a Flatline Audio BA2 (7k) All in a DbDRA no wall setup box (I still have my back seats!) 151.5 @ 44hz so far. Still lots to play with, zero deadner as well. Here is a little picture of the subs, will come back and edit this with more photos of the build when I get a chance to take some pics. I know, wires are all over the place and I need to clean it up really really bad. But finals is this weekend, and that is the LAST thing I am worried about. Went to the West Coast location for the DBDRA North American Finals and came home with some SERIOUS hardware! For the west coast 3x....
