Joseph Chambers
someone was telling me that they can add a layer to my windows and they won't break and adds to my spl. It also helps from uv and heat. I'm guessing what he was talking about is laminated glass. To do this would cost about 300 bucks and I'm looking for feedback.. Is it worth it? I'm thinking for the security benefit too. Thoughts? CleanSierra
Do you compete? That might be considered a "radical" type mod in certain organizations. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

mothra
your windshields are laminated glass. laminated glass by itself does nothing for heat or uv. it would have to be a treated laminate film for it to do anything for heat or uv. if nothing changes, nothing changes You don't know what you don't know, till you don't know
Joseph Chambers
Nope. Still getting everything installed which you can see in my sig. Like you I live in this heat. I'm in Hermosillo but phx has the same weather. Dry heat. Also I see the benefit of security but I was just trying to see if there was any truth to this.. I want to get more information tomorrow.. I'm not sure if it's a laminated glass or security film. He said I can roll down my windows and everything. Joseph Chambers
Would a treated laminate film help spl? Have you used any types of film? The thing is that these names get lost in translation and while i speak Spanish as a second language some of these new words get me. I don't compete and will have a music box.. I just don't want to be sold into something without knowing everything. CleanSierra
See if you're loud enough to bust a windshield first Plenty of guys doing a 155 aren't breaking windshields.
