Miguels
I compete and I use CCA. My truck it's still standing and my wire has never gotten hot to the touch. depends though.. i bet you have enough wire.. when people are looking to save they run the minimum.. there should be a video out there that shows voltage drop on cca even with gear not running.. it was a few tenths vs the OFC my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

everybodyknowme
I assume you're not competing and just have a nice daily system. In that case get the CCA and use 2 runs. You can get a 50ft spool of sky high 1/0 for around $75 which will be just fine and use the rest of your money to get decent batteries. In fact I've been using CCA by mistake for the past few years without a problem. When I bought it I thought I got OFC and noticed it when I did my rebuild this past summer. Oh and yes I run about the same amount of power as you.
