Door Mechanism's

well i was on the passenger side riding back to the hospital as thats where i seem to live lately. well i get out and i forget something. i go to get back in the car and the kid hits the lock button right as i pull the handle, i head a pop and now the damn door doesnt open from outsite. So i get it home and dince a lil plastic pin thats snapped off and a threaded rod that USED to make the door open from outside. I'd fix it but i cant even see where it once connected.

Anyone have any ideas on how much somethign like this cost to get fixed?

them lil plastic pieces are dirt cheep if you can get to the part its just a pain in the ass sometimes. but either the auto parts store or the dealer can get them.

yea the piece looks cheap as all hell i'll take a pic of it. just i cant get to or even see where it goes

Might have to end up taking the handle out of the door to get to it.

this piece is what the rod connects to and is the broken piece, the rod from the outer door connects to a threaded part of this but i have no idea where this was connected lol

pull your door handle out and Im willing to bet its that

i'll probably make some vids tomorrow as it looks like it should connect the rod thats currently dangling form the outer door handle and should connect to the mechanism itself. but i'll try to get some vid or pics of my dilemna if the gf doesnt have the baby before i can get the door back apart lol.
