Mechman 370a installed and Big 3-Highlights and Interior dimming/voltage drop badly

Recommended Posts

I think I know what To Nasty is referring to. I will take a picture of it when I get home. I am about to order XS Big 3 upgrade kit and would also like to know any potential problems.

Would it be this? Just running the ground wire through that hole?

I think it may be clipping because it will cut in and out, maybe the gains have just been set to high this entire time?

And as far as running through the battery sensor, how is that done exactly?

I was wondering the same, but it may seem that you just run the grounds through that, the existing and the one from the big 3? Not sure if 2 1/0 wire will fit. I wanna know before I order. What kit you went with?

You would run the big 3 ground through it I am assuming but do you splice in the ground to the battery sensor or just through the battery sensor harness and it recognizes it? I didn't do my install keagan so I do not know what they used although I didn't order per say a "big 3 kit" they just ran the 0 gauge they had at the shop.

Pictures would prly be best of your wiring and alternator. But most likely if a mechman 370 didn't fix your voltage problems you either have loose or corroded wiring.
