I see how dumb some people can be and I feel like there is some damage to stuff that may not be visible. LIke if someone got a sub box soaked from a leaky trunk and it ended up drying enough for it not to be visible. I don't have deep pockets but 300-340 for a box is doable for me. You should be able to get one built for that. As far as soaked wood goes you could easily tell if it was soaked before. I don't know if that box is any good

Most of the local shops ask about 250-300 for just a single, I can't really imagine what they would want for a double box. Working and going to school full time to I don't find much time to go to comps/ other events. I plan on hitting up bass mechanic and see what he says.
