2 18" Fi Q's, crown amps, pioneer receiver. Box is built

So when I run the signal cable from the receiver to the amp, do I have to use both channels? I'm going to bridge he amps, each amp will see a 4 ohm load. I'm just confused because there is 2 XLR inputs and I will only have one coming from the receiver to the amp. Can I just use one channel and still the use the amp?

You can use RCA or XLR input to channel 1 when you bridge. Bridged outputs for wire terminals are marked + for ch1 and - for ch2, or if you use a speakon connector like me, you put pos to +1 post and neg to +2 post of a 4 post speakon, and connect it to output of Ch1.

I ordered 2 XLR to RCA converters, was thinking of just using both outputs that the receiver has

That's looking really good. I'm excited to see the finished product!

Thanks man, I'm pretty pissed that I couldn't finish the box today.

Damn, that box looks good man. Amps are sexy too. Are they going to stay cool in that tight cabinet?

Thanks Ken, they are really tight in there but the ly have built in fans and the exhaust is in the front. I hope it sounds good

Man, this has been an adventure. So I fixed my compressor early in the morning with a plastic hose, long story short, after I started mixing another bottle of bedliner the damn hose went out again. What sucks is that the hardener was already mixed in and ready to go when the line went out. Luckily Home Depot isn't too far from where I live so I went and bought the compression ring I needed. Came back and started shooting the bottom on the box. The finished product is below. 9DCAD160-0501-4EE1-8440-A0C4A6ECE379.jpg

The 2 rectangles in this one are the the receivers antennas.

Now, I'll play the waiting game a few hours for the liner to dry. I loved working with this liner btw. I think I'm be shooting another box I did with it.

Now I have to put the legs under the box. And add the terminal holes for the woofers. Can not wait to hear this thing. I hope the bass is everything I expect.

Some pics of the feet I'll be using for the box. I have a total of 8 of these. I think I'll use 6 of these on the box. I also snapped some pics of the inside of the box and the bracing.
