15" fi ssd box design

I need a box design for a 15" Fi SSD to go in my 2003 civic coupe. I will be running it off a 02 kicker kx1200.1 @1ohm. Max deminsions 17.25 height 34 width and 20 depth port and sub forward

Do you think it's necessary to add fiberglass and matte a to the seams for added strength?

Fiberglass isn't necessary for this box. As long as the glue joints are good and strong it will be fine.

If you want you can also run caulk along all of the seams to ensure they are sealed. If you do that, just remember to give the caulk a few days to cure. The fumes the caulk puts out can damage the soft parts of a sub if you don't wait till the caulk is cured.

I normally use liquid nail heavy duty caulk the brown stuff. Is this fine?

Yup. I use titebond 2 for glueing the wood together, then run liquid nails along all of the seams. As long as you let the caulk cure for a couple days it will be nice and solid.
