Wasn't quite sure where I should post this at so I figured I'd give it a shot in the section. Well basically on my honda right now I have a Turbonetic's T60 Turbo on it. But I want to be different and I see/hear about turbo honda's everyday but never hear about a Supercharged H22 due to the fact you have to do serious modding to the engine bay for it to fit or so I've heard. The Supercharge I was lookinat is going to run me another 4k but I don't really know if it's worth it considering it'll only give it about 80hp. So far engine wise as stated it's a H22 and a K20 head with a full head job. Yea I said head job so go ahead and make all the perverted jokes. I don't really feel like listing everything that's been done to it but if you must know just hit me up with a PM or something. So yea what do you guy's think? Just stick with the turbo or run a supercharger? I had a ProCharger on my cougar before the car died and loved it. Wasn't to good on gas mileage but I can't say much about my honda getting good gas either. So, what do you all think?

I've had both a Supercharger and Turbo Kit on my Civic Hatch.

After having the turbo system, I'd never supercharge another small displacement motor.

The turbo was much more responsive in the mid-range and quite a bit more responsive up top. The only advantage the supercharger had over the turbo was below 3,000rpm.

Yea, Turbo kicks in in the high rpm's, Supercharger gets you off the line fast. Wish there was something like a Superturbocharger or something like that 8)

My homie had a 300z with a Twin-Turbo setup, a 54mm turbo for the low rpms, then the 76mm turbo kicked in at higher Rpms

now it deffinitly had the twinz but I wasnt all that convinced  that it worked like he said, it was fast as hell but it had turbo-lag something fierce at times.

if you port and polish your heads and match port the intake etc,, with a turbo setup you will make alot of power

1 guy has a turbo pushing 459hp to the wheel on a complete stock motor v6 mustang running 11psi

another guy has 500+ to the wheel running 6psi with the P&P

Depends on what the end result is that you are looking for.  The downside with Schargers is that they use HP to make HP, the downside to turbo's is as others have stated is the lag.

If you size the turbos right and go after a certain powerband then I'd reccomend that way in a heartbeat.  Typically if you are after serious Hp what we do on the track is stack turbos of different sizes to spool one another, that way the lag is gone.  But you do have to monitor for Exhaust Gas Temp and rpms of the turbo to make sure you don't over work the small one.
