tbeats
OK so I just swapped decks today .. Same system nothing on that end changed everything sound fine. Put in my old Kenwood and noticed when I go to volume 0 or change tracks my subs make a loud thud. I tested by swapped rca with my four channel so my sub amp getting signal from the hu rear rca output I had no thud at all. So its only from that decks sw out. I used a old ground loop isolator I had an the thud was gone zero thud.. Is that my only option other then a new deck?
ShadeTreeMechanic
Check the RCA shield coming out of the deck. It should be zero ohms with the radio chassis. Some pioneers had a fuse for this that would blow, I don't know about Kenwood. A simple fix is to ground the shield if its not already. I grounded my radio to the battery with a piece of 12awg and it helped a lot. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
