2 type r 12s

I'm sure this question has been asked a l000 times I have 2 type r 12s the older 500rms model. I have them in a prefab box never been happy with it. Does someone have plans for a ported box there going on a 06 trailblazer so it has room just need to keep some space for the stroller lol

You probably aren't going to have much luck just asking for generic box plans like that. Most people aren't going to know the exact dimensions of your Blazer, especially if you don't want to take up the whole space.

If you want help, measure the back of your Blazer and let us know exactly how much space you are willing to give up for the box. Its also helpful to know what amp you are using and what kind of music you listen to.

U never mentioned model so im gonna guess ALPINE SWR-1242D DVC 4ohm

Within this range, the ideal size recommended by Alpine is 1.7 cu/ft, so this is the enclosure recommended by Crutchfield. A slot port with the following dimensions should be used with the 1.7 cu/ft enclosure: W = 12", H = 1.25", L = 21". If you cannot use a slot port in your enclosure, you will need a port tube with the following dimensions: Diameter = 3", L = 9.9".

Its important that u give ALL information when asking for help, just simply old 12" type r isnt gonna get u any help. What kinda music do u listen to ? What are you trying to achive ? If u just want a generic tune frequency i would prolly build a box with each subwoofer chambered @ 2 cubic feet each and use some 4" pvc pipe for the ports. 4" pipe at 10" length will tune you at 36hz set ur SSF @30 hz and ur LPF @75-80. That is my best advise for a "generic" ported box and its pretty close to what alpine says to build to.

But if you want a PROPER built box u need to look up and tell us all ur subwoofer parameters so it can be plugged in a program so we can see the strengths and weakness with tuning high or low.

for the most part you dont need anything newer than 10 years.... and the ability to connect it to your tv and you can use these programs... so either spend $400ish on a decent laptop or desktop.... or piece together a $50 turd computer that you may be able to score for free and get a hdmi/dvid out video card if your TV does not have a VGA plug... most these days do not

Definitely you should get some cheap laptop (bottom of the line will do), I can't believe how people can manage with a smartphone.
