I figured I should document it as it goes and parts start showing up. Here is the parts list 2a armament receiver set V7 weapons system ultralight take down pins V7 mag catch V7 bolt release V7 titanium grip screw V7 titanium buffer detent V7 lightweight ejection port cover and rod V7 lightweight buffer tube V7 castle nut V7 end plate V7 charging handle Kak industries buffer spring Kak industries customizable buffer V7 titanium safety selector Magpul miad grip with beaver tails removed That's all purchased here is where it's planned out Mission first tactical battlefield minimalist stock Aim lightweight bolt carrier group 2a armament m lok rail 12" Faxon firearms lightweight 14.5 pencil barrel 2a armament titanium compensator 2a armament titanium gas block Some trigger undecided there Looking at a trijicon mro Or if I go stupid an aimpoint t1 Final weight will come in about 4 pounds two ounces before optics mro and mount will be 7 oz. t1 would be 3. I'll post pics as I go. Most is still in bound here are my receivers I was worried about the recoil on such a light gun but it will be a compensated mid length gas system so it shouldn't be too bad especially with the tuned buffer and light bolt. Thoughts? I will not be doing this again but the wife wants one to shoot she can actually hold up and not shoot from a bench and of course I go full retard. The market for ultra lightweight stuff is very slim. Hey are weighing it in grams. Not oz jn most cases. They kill you on price.
