dturro
I know Sundown says .5-.75 My question is if they will perform well in .6-.65? 1.2 total after drivers(both in one chamber) and port area. Space is limited in my hatch, so the smaller the better, i will use them for daily drive, Rock mainly, but also listen to EDM, regueaton and some hip hop. Another question, can i give a port area of 20 or 22? bellow that at 1200 watts i will have port noise according to WinISD. Of course, the program gives the worst case scenario, like if i Am pushing the entire 1200 watts all the time to them which it wont happen Thank you for your inputs in advance. ShadeTreeMechanic
Generally a bigger box will give more output than a smaller one. If you are within their recommendations then you should be good. What frequency will your port be tuned to? CleanSierra
I'll tell you this, the larger of the safe side you can go, the easier it will be to design an enclosure with proper port area. The smaller the enclosure, the longer the port must be to get the desired tune and proper port area typically. Don't get up to 1 cube though, they don't like THAT much from what I've personally heard. .6-.75 per sub is plenty. Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. I have a question that i hope you can help me with, on the torres calculator should i put # of common port walls to 3? right?
