Should be done next weekend once I find machine screw for the removable ports. 1/2" round over on the port openings, and 1/4" everywhere else. I might just stop at 2 coats. Second one came out really nice. DubNDodge Posted April 25, 2016 Author Report Share Posted April 25, 2016 Made some more progress this weekend. Alt finally arrived so I put that in. I also put in the threaded inserts and drilled holes for bolts on both ports, which was a bitch because the inserts didn't go in perpendicular. So I had to elongate the holes depending which way the damn insert pointed. That powder coat though!!!! Fuck you honda, the bottom bolt on the alt was damn near impossible to reach. 3 extensions and a cheater bar later..... Alt finally in 5 hours later due to seized bolts, and trying to figure shit out. Didn't help I spent about 30 minutes trying to loosen a bolt by turning it clockwise.... Gaterback belt Wires ran. Luckily I was able to reuse the runs that I had from the stratus. I still need to drill holes for the T-nuts, but I need a goddamned subwoofer for that. I also remounted the amp on the amp rack because I made the box an inch deeper, and last time the amp was already touching the back of the seats. So I moved it down until it didn't touch the back of the seats. So as soon as the sub goes in, the build will be finished within 30 minutes.
