AcIdBuRn02ZTS
Not sure if this has been covered... didn't find anything about it. In the manual, it specifies to use the black lead on the negative speaker output on the amplifier, red on the positive. This is how I used it however while watching some of Steve's videos, he places the negative lead on the amplifier ground, not the speaker -. Will this make a difference? reedal
My DD-1 manual says to use the amplifier ground, not the speaker negative output. AcIdBuRn02ZTS
Hmm.. my manual is from 2014 and states on page 11, step 8... "Using included harness, connect DD-1 to output of amplifier. Connect the red harness lead to the Speaker (+) terminal, connect the black to Speaker (-) terminal." It detects the 40hz signal, and detects distortion when I turn the gain up too high... but just wanted to make sure it made 0 difference as the gain is a good bit higher then I previously had it set. Smoove
From Tony's FB page just use the speaker + and - for whatever channel you are trying to check. Don't use battery ground. We revised that procedure.
