Sykness225 Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 Quick question about eqs, may be dumb but im new to them. Ok, so on an eq you have sub out, front out, rear out, but only a single supply in. On the back of my deck i have the same outputs, sub front, and rear. Does it matter which output from the headunit i hook to the input on the equalizer to ensure i get the proper signals to both my mids/highs and sub amps?
reedal Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 You would want to use the preout that can provide the full frequency range from your HU. Which may not be possible in your case. Sykness225 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Report Posted March 15, 2016 Anybody else have any information? Can i merge the outputs from the headunit with y cables and accomplish the same affect as a single output? or is there some sort of module or piece of equipment that can fuse them into a single output?
MrSkippyJ Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 what headunit? if we know that we won't have to make as many guesses. F150: Stock 2019 Harley Road Glide: Amp: TM400Xad - 4 channel 400 watt Processor: DSR1 Fairing (Front) 6.5s -MMats PA601cx Lid (Rear) 6x9s - TMS69
Jhunt94 Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 Just use the front outputs on the head unit into the input of the eq. 2007 Ford F-150 Reg. Cab.
